Back to Electronic Pest Control

1. How does the DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller work?

The patented DX610, for rodent control, mouse control, mice control, utilizes advanced state of the art technology that works by transmitting a powerful range of ultrasonic sound waves in the 45,000 Hz range. The auto-changing, high intensity frequencies and pulse sequences were designed to output at known auditory sensitivity ranges of pests, like rats, mice. Why aren't humans or pets effected? Humans can only hear sound up to 20,000 HZ, and your pet, (dog or cat), can only hear frequencies up to 27,000 HZ. That's why your dog can hear a dog whistle and you can't.

2. Will rodents get used to the DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller?

The DX610 uses an auto-changing, high intensity frequency AND pulse sequence. Many rodents and insects will, in fact, either get use to, or not think it irritating enough to leave, if there is only one sound frequency (like many "copy cat", and cheaper priced pest repellers on the market today).

 3. Can ultrasound be heard by rodent pets?

Yes. Households with rodent type pets such as gerbils, hamsters, or pet mice, should not place any sound wave devices in the same room that the pet inhabits.

4. How much SF will each DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller cover?

In an ideal environment, the DX-610, whether for rodent control, rat or mouse control, can be measured up to a 2,000 SF space on ONE level. An ideal environment is one that the unit is not directly blocked by furniture, draperies, or any other object. The unit should be plugged into a wall plug that is unobstructed. Soft materials like carpets, furniture, draperies can have an impact on the total coverage. Each application and customer environment will differ slightly. We recommend that units be places on ALL floors, basement, attic, and attached garage

 5. Do I need a DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller for each floor and basement?

It is recommended. Though the DX610 Electronic pest control repeller has a higher frequency (45,000 HZ) than most other repellers on the market, we do recommend that you plug one into each floor for maximum performance. The effect of sound waves does diminish with distance.

6. When can I expect results?

Every environment and application is different. For example, if the rodents are already nesting or if you have a very bad infestation problem, it will take a little longer. Some customers have had results in as little as an hour, and for others it took several days to clear their home of all rodents and unwanted pests. If units are on every floor, including basement, attic and garage, results will be faster. Once satisfactory results are achieved, we recommend that you leave the unit plugged in to maintain the results and to prevent the problem from occurring in the future.

7. How much does the DX610 cost to operate?

The DX610's electronic pest control repeller power consumption is rated at 1.2 Watts per hour for 110 VAC and 2.4 Watts per hour for 220 VAC. Keeping the unit plugged in for 24 hours a day, 30 days a month, 12 months a year, your total cost would be less than $1.50 for 110 VAC for the entire year (less than a large cup of coffee).

8. If I can't hear the DX610, how do I know if it's still working?

The DX610 has a small red LED indicator that glows when the unit is plugged in. There is also a soft pulse sound you can hear if you are close to the unit. You will also notice an absence of mice, rats.

 9. How long will the DX610 last?

The electronics of the DX610 should last at least five years. There are many units in the field that are over 7 years old.

10. What about those electromagnetic repellers I see on TV?

Electromagnetic repellers started appearing on the market just a short while ago. There are several brands that offer claims that their product changes the house wiring into a magnetic field that chases rodents and insects away. We have not seen any research that backs up these claims. Further, there is no evidence that electromagnetic energy does not have an affect on children, adults, or pets in some manner. Sorry, but until they are proven 100% safe, we will not be offering that technology to our customers.

11. Can I do anything else to help get rid of the problem?

The answer is Yes! Make sure that any openings to your home are properly sealed. Mice and Rats can get in through very small spaces the size of a nickel. Holes in the roof for example, openings around chimneys, holes in the roof vents , basement vents, or attic vents, ventilation ducts, cracks in the foundation, or open spaces between the foundation and the siding offer an accessible means of entry into you home. Open doors and windows also offer an easy way for Rodents, Mice, Rats, to get into your home. There are many ways, as you can see, for the Rodents to get into your home.

In addition to sealing off and repairing any cracks, there are other things that should be done as well. Make sure that the areas around the perimeter of your home are cleaned of debris and weeds. Cut the tall grasses and weeds around the home or office, eliminate any piles of debris, and secure any storage containers so rodents, like rats and mice can't seek shelter. For trash cans, secure the lids. For compost containers, make sure they are covered and latched.

The interior of your home, especially the kitchen, is a primary target for Rodents like Mice, Rats or field mice, and insects, so keep the counters clean, and all food tightly sealed. Eliminate leaky faucets, fix leaky pipes, don't leave food on the floor for your pets at night, remove the clutter from you counters, and keep your kitchen sink clean and free of food particles.

Look around your home for any of these signs of problem areas. Correct the problems as soon as possible. In addition, we recommend that you place at least one DX610 Electronic Pest Control Repeller on each floor for ongoing maintenance assistance for Rodent Control, Mice Control, or Rat Control. Keep the unit plugged in even after you have achieved success.

12. How do I compare all of the different electronic pest control repellers on the market?

The decision is not as daunting as it seems. You just need a few points of comparison. Here is a list of consideration for you review.

(OUR STATISTICS FOR THE DX610 ARE IN BRACKETS FOR EASY REFERENCE)

1. FREQUENCY output. (40 - 45 K Hz)
The auto-changing, high intensity frequencies and pulse sequences were designed to output at known auditory sensitivity ranges of pests, like rats, mice, and spiders.

2. SOUND WAVE ROTATION (uses variable sequences)
This means that the rodents and insects will have a harder time getting used to the sound. It changes with different cycles and sequences. Most units have either no sound rotations or just one.

3. QUIETNESS (Ours is silent)
Many of the other pest repellers have an audible beeping or constant humming that may drive you out of the house instead of the insects and rodents.

4. GUARANTEE (30 day $ back guarantee if you are not happy with the results for any reason)
